Mölkky is a fantastic skittles-style game from Finland that’s easy to pick up and incredibly addictive! The aim is to throw the Mölkky stick at a group of numbered pins. If you knock down just one, you score the number on it, but if you topple several, you earn one point for each pin. This simple rule adds a brilliant bit of strategy to the game. Sometimes you’ll want to aim carefully for a single pin, while other times it is smarter to go for a cluster. The goal is to reach exactly 50 points, but if you bust, you must go back down to 25!
Mölkky GO is a full-size version of the game, with the main difference from the Original being that it’s made from Pine rather than Birch. This gives you a lighter and slightly softer wood, making it a better choice for use in public spaces. Thanks to Pine’s fast growth rate, it also comes at an even better price!
This set comes in a handy cardboard storage box with rope handles for easy transportation.

Welsh players tend to use thinner pins than those used in England. The styles can vary but often they are thin with a nobble on top.
The 10 inch pins tend to be used in the Glamorgan area with 4 1/2 inch balls while the 8 inch pins are often found in the Rhonda area of Wales and for these balls from 3 – 4 inches are used. 9 inch pins are popular around Newport and would be used with 4 1/2 inch balls.
Note: The shape of Welsh Skittles can vary considerably from town to town. The shapes sold as standard by Masters Games may not be exactly the same shape as those you currently use.

Replacement pole, swivel, chain and ball set for Bar Skittles (also known as Table Skittles).
This pole, chain and ball set are designed specifically for the current version of the Masters Bar Skittles game. It is not guaranteed to work with any other bar skittles game by any other manufacturer. In might work but it mainly depends on the diameter of the pole and how the pole is attached to the main game. The diameter of the pole is 2 inches (25mm). Please check that this will work with your game before purchasing.
Please note that the ball and chain come separately and you will need to attach the ball to the chain. First reduce the chain length to the size required for your game, then use the supplied screw-eye component to connect the ball to the chain.

Manufactured in the UK, these are excellent quality Gloucester style Skittle pins made from laminated Rubberwood. These pins measure 10 x 4.5 inches, are supplied in sets of 9 and are nicely finished with a coating of oil.
These are durable pins designed for use in pubs and leagues.
These skittles are the typical style for pins around the Gloucester and Cheltenham area and are also generally accepted as the default pin style for areas outside the heartland of alley skittles, such as Hampshire and Oxford. Gloucester pins are also widely used for village fairs, summer fetes and other events around the country.

Manufactured in Britain, these expertly made Devon / Somerset style skittle pins are designed to withstand heavy use in pubs and league play. The set comprises 8 standard pins and 1 larger kingpin that features a distinctive top.
These large skittle pins are used in pubs and leagues around Somerset and East Devon, and also can be found in the Channel Islands.
Each standard pin measures 12 x 6 inches whilst the Kingpin measures 14.5 x 6 inches. All are made from laminated (or bonded) Rubber wood, with incredibly strong yet barely noticeable joins. This ensures the pins are robust enough for regular play. The pins are then finished with a coating of oil.
These Skittles are made to our own specification and we hold all Rubberwood pins in stock, ready for immediate dispatch – this means there are no lengthy manufacturing lead times.
We also stock other styles and sizes of Skittle pin. Balls are not included.
